Chrongraph Problems!!
I was practicing in the garage today when I decided to set up my Chrony and check velocities. My chronograph completely ignored the pellets! Does anyone else have problems chronographing pellets? Thanks in advance.

Does your garage have fluoro lighting?rick983 wrote:I was practicing in the garage today when I decided to set up my Chrony and check velocities. My chronograph completely ignored the pellets! Does anyone else have problems chronographing pellets? Thanks in advance.

And then some!rick983 wrote:Yes I do. Does fluoresent lighting affect the electronic sensors on a Chrony?
Suggest you make up a light proof cover to protect the sensors from the fluoros and an incandecent globe over each sensor inside the cover. 40W globes seem to work a treat.
A similar arrangement for outdoor use seems to solve all chrono problems.
