Morini GOLD and SILVER

Post by pilkguns »

Nestreuv is a confirmed Morini FP user, and the silver medalist was shooting a silver Morini. Bronze was the invaluable Toz

Is it really silver?

From the photo it really looks like a silver barrel Morini FP, but if you compare the FP of Nestruev, the silver may just be the refelction on the blue.

However, he seems to be using a different muzzle compensater.

I think Nestruev's Morini doesn't have a compensator. In fact, I think he's cut the standard "sight holder", also known as a "bloop tube" in half and is only using the rear half of it.

On the other hand, the Silver medallist is shooting the new Morini comp. This thing is amazingly long and won't fit in the factory-supplied hard case for the pistol. It would have to produce exceptional results before I'd go with something that long!

Well mark he won the silver medal so I guess it's producing amazing results for him. How's it going, I'm still missing the fine restaurants and wait staff from Edmonton.
