Advise on getting shooting shoes

I have been thinking about getting a pair of shoes beacuse I feel a slight rock with my normal shoes. What brands are good and is there a specific style that is best and where do you find them?

Try Van's skateboard shoes. They have a really flat sole. I've seen several members of the Army team using them.
