Steyr EVO10E SX
Hi All,
I'm very interested to hear from anyone that has had some hands on time with the EVO 10 E SX
Worthwhile training tool or gimmick?
EVO10E and LP10E can be upgraded with SX trigger and electronics but LP10E will also need an new grip, will be interesting to see prices.
Thanks

Re: Steyr EVO10E SX
I'd love to know what the in built SCATT training is like in the SX.
Hopefully someone will of shot with it.

Re: Steyr EVO10E SX
If it's anything like the Morini 200EI software, it's not very useful
Re: Steyr EVO10E SX
From the video, it sounds like it's an accelerometer based system like a Mantis X. It has no idea where you are actually aiming, other than assuming the center of your hold is right. It can only detect motion as you wobble around. That can still be useful if you want to track things like poor triggering and/or bad follow-through.

Re: Steyr EVO10E SX
IS there a price for this available yet?
Re: Steyr EVO10E SX
Pistol is about 3.000 EUR (inc VAT), upgrade kit is about 850 EUR (inc VAT) in Germany. Lot of money for this, I would say, useless gimmic. Owners of Morini 200 can tell you: viewtopic.php?t=64560 (I am one of them who download and almost don't use the app, in fact I use the app only for check the battery status).
Re: Steyr EVO10E SX
Nobody has any real experience with the SX as production only commences in June.argus wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 10:18 pm Hi All,

Re: Steyr EVO10E SX
It is a much more user friendly training tool and half the price of a SCATT...at least here in Switzerland. However the range of movement it can detect is limited and requires a significant movement on the shooters part to register movement. Unlike a SCATT it wont register each subtle movement. But once again for the price it a decent tool. So no, not a gimmick.

Re: Steyr EVO10E SX
Available for sometime in Switzerland. Not a SCATT, does not visualise your aim but great for forces on the pistol such as trigger control, let off point etc....Leon wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 11:07 pmNobody has any real experience with the SX as production only commences in June.argus wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 10:18 pm Hi All,

Really? Where? Reading between the lines I get the impression you are talking about the Mantis X? Or maybe the Morini equivalent?SchutzenCH wrote: ↑Tue May 27, 2025 4:17 pm Available for sometime in Switzerland.
