Steyr EVO10E SX

Post by argus »

Hi All,
I'm very interested to hear from anyone that has had some hands on time with the EVO 10 E SX
Worthwhile training tool or gimmick?
EVO10E and LP10E can be upgraded with SX trigger and electronics but LP10E will also need an new grip, will be interesting to see prices.
Thanks

I'd love to know what the in built SCATT training is like in the SX.

Hopefully someone will of shot with it.

If it's anything like the Morini 200EI software, it's not very useful

From the video, it sounds like it's an accelerometer based system like a Mantis X. It has no idea where you are actually aiming, other than assuming the center of your hold is right. It can only detect motion as you wobble around. That can still be useful if you want to track things like poor triggering and/or bad follow-through.

Personally I'd love to see how different weight distribution on the first and second stage impacts the pressure graph, but I have no clue if it would actually be meaningful.
