Custom Scope Rails

Post by RodSev »

I needed to raise my sight line and wanted a scope rail that would accomplish that. I've seen several requests for scope rails on this site and thought I would share a great source and person to work with. After some experimenting I determined what I needed and contacted Howard Pitts. He kindly offered to build them (I got 2). I sent him my current scope rail to use for measurements and required relief, and he returned two absolutely perfect fit scope rails to me, exactly as requested. I love and appreciate things that fit perfectly. I am going to try and attach some pictures. As seen, I needed the scope rail long enough to give me eye relief for my scope, and have clearance for the for the barrel block. It's an EC stock by the way.
Great job Howard, thanks!

That would make more sense than my suggestion. For the non-US members is Pabst not very good?

I never liked it but it was cheap if I remember correctly. I went for Miller Light, they had the best commercials!
