I agree that it's a done deal. I'm not sure it's a bad deal. RF bays are scarce, and there's no real possibility of a competitor owning a portable one. A single turning target is far easier to procure.

Not in Australia!
Barring some 'indoor' clubs, I cannot think of one club that does not have at least one 25m turning target or EST range.
The next move will be to eliminate separate 25M facilities for ISSF competitions, using targets at 25m on the 50M range.
Slightly left field and may not be relevant to most people on here but talks being held to reintroduce shooting (assuming pistol is included) to the 2030 Commonwealth games.
Don't jump to conclusions, all we know is that the new rule book has been put back a couple of months.

Had no feedback from the ISSF meeting in mid Feburary.
