Dead Pistol Timer and 25m Pistol Timer apps?

Now that I'm training again I wanted to install an app for rapid fire pistol training but both apps are missing from the Android Play Store.

Do you know what happened ?

Does anybody have working APK to share?

I have not found any alternatives, do you know of any?

I suspect they weren't updated to work with recent versions of android, and they got dropped. I believe there are alternatives that have been mentioned in recent posts. The search feature came up with: viewtopic.php?p=332282#p332282

I installed it from aptoide but I consider it a security risk. I would prefer to only use Google play. I've also sent an email to the developer of this app..

Do you have the contact for the Pistol Timer app? It iwas the app in Spanish with yellow boxes.

I'm working on adding international pistol courses to my BullseyeMatch app, but it will take some time. Google has significantly tightened the requirements for both authors and apps in the Play Store recently, and many may not find the hoops are worth jumping through. The minimum API ratchets forward in August again, btw. Hopefully we won't see more apps vanish.

I think you're right to be cautious downloading apk's from "mirror" sites. The integrity signature is usually stripped, and there's no guarantee the binary was not modified and/or compromised.
