A local shooter bought an MG2, and has been shooting is successfully for about a year. He reported that he had started getting jams occasionally, and that the problem got better after he flushed the extractor area. However, it was still acting up, just less frequently. I suggested that he take the extractor system apart and give it a thorough cleaning, but he was a bit reluctant to do that without some guidance.
I put together a YouTube video on the process. Although it's not essential, the video includes a link to a Thingiverse file for 3D printing a bench block that simplifies things a bit. You also need a dummy pin to help reassemble the slide, and both the video and 3D descriptions include info on how to make one from a common nail.
Here's the link to the video: https://studio.youtube.com/video/ZoIZJ1Yvgh0

Re: MatchGun MG2 Extractor Maintenance
I've added a second short video with a few tips on dealing with the recoil springs & guide rods. I have another video planned on removing and cleaning the carrier/elevator, so I've created a playlist for all my MG2 videos:
https://studio.youtube.com/playlist/PL0 ... 1BwdNMPPeU
I can't tell if the link is correct, because if I click on it, it immediately kicks me into the YouTube video editor.
If that doesn't get you to the playlist, this should at least get you to the new video on recoil springs:

Well, all the above links (those with "studio" in the text string) take one to a screen intended to initiate a new channel.
After a brief search I found this video which I believe is the one being discussed:

Re: MatchGun MG2 Extractor Maintenance
I'm still figuring out YouTube details...
There are two videos. The one on extractors is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoIZJ1Yvgh0
The second one on dealing with the recoil springs is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSeTwaDPHUs
The "playlist" that gets you to both of them is: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... 1BwdNMPPeU
The advantage of going to the playlist is that it will also include the third video on carrier maintenance, which I'm hoping to make tomorrow.

Mr White, thanks for the videos! There are quite few videos on disassembly and given the paucity of information in the manual it is quite hard to understand how it is constructed. Very much looking forward to seeing the elevator video!
