I was away on holiday for the whole of January, so it was interesting to see the effect of a month without shooting. Slight drop in form but not disastrous, it seems.

Shot these scores at my third ever AP match. Been shooting with borrowed equipment; I finally picked up a used AP from Pilkington. Fun sport—wish the lighting at my local venue was better for iron sights!

And once again I improve on my month score. I'm starting to really improve my consistency, and I like that. I'm getting fewer bad shots -- only four 8's today.

My biggest problem right now is that I start matches poorly. My first targets tend to be far below my standard, even if I shoot well during sighters. Today I shot 133/140 during sighters and still got only a 90 on my first target.

February Scores 90,90,90,85,89,87 = 531 Had to take a Covid Break

Had Regional Championships this month. No time to play this month. Of the 3 that I shot already, I took Gold in Muzzle Loader Pistol, Gold in Sport Pistol, and Silver in Air Pistol (40 Shots). 2 more to do this coming weekend.
