I have a new junior shooter who wants to start ISSF 25m sport pistol with the .22. We only have a 50’ indoor range. Is there a reduced version of the B17 target?
Or, should I simply have her shoot the B17 and based on shots close to the center evaluate her hit/miss percentage.
Thanks
Mike

Re: Sport Pistol at 50’. Targets?
The Kruger targets are really nice, especially for air pistol. The NRA has target specifications for the 50 foot scaled targets, and they are designated as B-33 (Precision), and B-39 (Rapid). Many of the US target manufactures make them, but the paper isn't nearly as good. Kruger used to sell official NRA B-33 & B-39 targets in the US, but the NRA decided not to renew their license to ensure the business went to US target companies. The Krugers you can buy now are not approved for NRA matches, but they are identical to the approved targets Kruger used to sell, They just don't have NRA seal on them anymore.
If you have to buy targets and Kruger is out of stock, American Target Company targets are the best US made ones I've found. They are easy to deal with, and their prices & shipping costs are reasonable.

You can resize a target to any distance with https://www.olympicpistol.com/calculator and also figure out at which height the center of the target should be.
