SASP Colleges?

Post by kbean »

I’m trying to understand SASP, what it includes, what the benefits are to a student, etc.
Is there a list of colleges that have SASP teams?
Thanks

The best list of SASP colleges will be found here:
https://app.sssfonline.com/results
Click on the SASP option. Then you can choose from match results.
If you click on the 2022 Collegiate National Championship you will be able to see the teams that compete, the results scoreboard and match scores.
You can also go back and look at previous Collegiate National Championships.
I coach the www.WildGats.com There are about 30 college teams that compete at Nationals: Texas A&M, West Point, Virginai Corps of Cadets, and the Naval Academy have all had teams over the years. Add in U Florida, Vermont, Pioneer, Bethel and many others.
Some of the benefits to the student is:
A) network of matches that are available to compete in. About 35 state matches, 8 regionals, 3 Nationals.
B) Special pricing on equipment from National sponsors.
C) Insurance coverage for the athlete, coach and facility to $10,000,000.
D) the opportunity to be part of a team environment.
