IZH35M parts

Post by PASA008 »

In need of a slide hold open tab part. It broke off. Can just barely move the remaining piece to hold the slide back.

Or any gunsmiths that could repair or make this part?

Please let me know.

There was a guy a few years back that made a fix for this common issue.
I sent him my gun when mine snapped off. The part he made attached
to the bottom of the lower forward part of the frame. It made the slide
stop a button like the Pardini SP. Worked excellent. I can't remember who
he is and I sold the pistol so I can't send you a photo.
There has to be someone here that knows who it is.

He is. It's a weight that incorporates a slide stop button. I just had a couple made a few months ago.

The Walther KSP200 variant used a spring loaded plunger through the right hand arm of the slide. Unfortunately, it weakens the slide and cracking through the hole can occur, especially if hot ammunition is used. I just use a piece of Perspex between the front of the slide and the muzzle block to keep the slide open - like with my Margolins. Have to be real quick on the last shot!
