I wear those Athalonz shoes playing golf to good effect.
I wear those shoes the other day shooting. It dawn on me why I never try those shoes shooting before. I was a solid bipod. Solid.
Can someone look up the rule book, and let me know if they are legit in competition.
But legit or not, I am wearing them shooting. Groupings really, really shrunk. Beauty to my eyes.

As to the flexibility, can't say.
Hope this helps

Do they cover your ankles? They look high on the sides.

Are you still feeling the same about the shoes? Are you using any of the inserts with your shoes (Athalonz +3, neutral, or -4?

Yes, shoes do make my stance more stable.
If I am not wearing them, I make an effort to keep weights centered on the inner side of my feet, with a slight wider stance.
Shoes are easier, more natural. But both weight shifts on feet work.

What surface do you shoot on? I shoot barefoot on carpet and am wondering if I give up anything shooting on carpet. It's the only place I can shoot.
Re: Athalonz shoes
It is an acquired taste.
I like the wedged foot stance where low point is inner part of foot. I look feel more stable with those wedged shoes.
Why don’t you just put a small towel on the outer edge of your feet, one on each foot, even if you are standing barefoot. See if you like the bolstered sensation with lowest points on the inner edge of your feet.
