Hello,
We have an old SCATT W-01 at out club, but we cannot set it up. First it didn't work at all, now when I used a new computer it works, in the calibration it shows where I am aiming, but when I shot (dry fire air pistol) it doesn't register that I pulled the trigger. No blue circle ever appeared. Do you have any suggestions on what the problem could be?

I am not sure on the W-01 model. Is this the USB model with the frame?
If it is showing where you are aiming then I would look at the sensitivity when you are calibrating. There should be a few different settings and it may need to be more sensitive.

That helped, thanks. Yes it's the IR USB version with a frame.

Update the firmware too (target and device).

I' d suggest you update to the newest software just as Th. has advised
