Gun hanger/hook for off hand stand
Does anybody currently make a hanger or hooks for an off hand stand that allows a rifle to be "hung" there? I checked out old threads but can find nothing current. I understand the risk of the situation and don't intend to use it except in a very specific situation. I recently bought an wired SCATT system and would like to set the rifle on the hanger/hooks to rest without setting it down while it is tethered to the computer.

I created what I call “Position Rifle Rest” that we use when shooting standing and kneeling to keep our rifles off the ground and to make getting the rifle easier. It mounts on the Off Hand Stand. I will send you a picture. If interested I can send you one, all you need to do is cover shipping.
My picture file is to large. I will send it to you as soon as I correct the file size

One of the clubs we shoot at has some of these. The ones I've seen first hand seem sturdy. See the third item down in the catalog. Worth a look...
My son practices with a wired scatt at home as well. He sets the rifle down on an old end table when he's taking a break.

Yes, I used to have one of these, until I gave it away.
For me it is convenient to hang the rifle while I am taking a longer break, and want to leave the firing line for awhile.
Unfortunately I could not remember from whom I bought it.

Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately I have been told Bill Ernst has passed away.

So does anyone make one like the Earnest Shooting Products hanger? I see them all the time at matches but have never seen one for sale. I would like a couple.
Re: Gun hanger/hook for off hand stand
That was sudden. I just received scoring plugs from Mr. Earnest two weeks ago.
Re: Gun hanger/hook for off hand stand
As of 1:22 pm today Mr. Earnest is still with us.
