Could somebody please guide me on how to remove the left-hand windage adjustment knob on an Walther Inside-Out Rear-sight.
What im trying to achieve is the same as the Grunig & Elmiger Grand Prix Rear-sight.
The reason behind this is that it will allow better visibility of the windflags once in position.
Ive attached an image which demonstrates it clearly.

Re: Walther Rear-sight Modification
You might start with an exploded diagram. See here on Walther's website: https://carl-walther.com/sport/products/p/2825074
It looks like the left hand turret is connected onto the axle by a nut. However, but if you remove the turret the axle will be loose. If you don't have the capacity to make some low-profile spacer to replace the turret I would not carry on.
Could you not trade the Insight-Out sight for something narrower like a Centra Spy?

Ive had a look at the exploded diagram but cant figure out how to remove the plastic cap on the knob. Cant seem to find how its being hold on.
