Just wondering if anyone had any positive or negative thoughts about the Hammerli 162 free pistol.

Any thoughts on the Hammerli 162?

I don't have a 162, but I do have pretty extensive experience shooting the 152 and the 160. I am very fond of both. Some shooters don't like electronic triggers and some don't care for the carbon-fiber forend. My 152 has been quite reliable, if that's your issue.

Hi,
I concur with Bill. I too have a Hammerli 152. Prior to that I used a Toz 35 (w/Morini grip). In my opinion, and with respect to all the loyal Toz users, I love the Hammerli!! It handles great, is easy to dismantle for routine maintenance, and is phenomenally accurate. The Hammerli is also beautifully built. I personally love the electronic trigger. I think if you are drawn to the 162, you would be extremely pleased with it for a long, long time.
