I have a 10 meter range in my basement and that is where all my equipment is stored. The temperature is 55 degrees F and 50% humidity. I have several 10 meter springers, SSP and PCP.
I have one SSP (Steyr LG 10) that shoots poorly with a wide spread and no more than 500 fps. (8.2 g pellets) However, if I bring that rifle upstairs for a few hours to warm up to 70 degrees F, it works fine...575 fps with a tight spread. All other air guns work fine without warming in the 55 degrees temp.
Any ideas??
Thanks

You can warm up the piston seal by pumping it several times without completing the stroke. If it continues to shoot poorly, you´ll eventually need to replace with new seals to maintain tight groupings.
