It depends...Are you thinking of using an airgun outside or inside? The city I work in does not allow a person to discharge a bb gun within city limits. Of course if you do this outside, neighbors will see you and call the police. If you are shooting on an airgun range inside your house, no one will ever know. It's kind of like alcohol. You can drink all you want inside your house, but if you walk around outside in public with a beer in your hand you may be violating an open container law. Check to see what the laws are where you live.
