Trigger Shoe-Hammerli 208/International
Does anybody know of a trigger shoe (factory or after market) to fit a Hammerli 208/ International model ?
Re: Trigger Shoe-Hammerli 208/International
Jim Henderson undoubtedly has one from Larry Carter's estate, but he may not be able to find it...

Re: Trigger Shoe-Hammerli 208/International
I have seen optional triggers for Hammerli 280 and SP20 but never for 208/215/208s 215s.
I remember asking Larry Carter some years back and was given the same answer.
Jim Henderson will probably not reply once he finds out you are from Australia. I emailed him and he emailed me back asking what I needed, but never got back to me after I mentioned being from another country.
A reply would have been appreciated.... He may have a standard trigger but good luck that it can be rescued from the black hole of what was Larry’s parts.

I have a Hammerli 208 and at one time almost all shooters in India used one. I never saw a trigger shoe. The factory trigger is good and comfortable. You could get something made which would fit over the standard trigger. If you have a drawing please send it to me and I can ask if someone can make a shoe for you.

These pics are from GB.com. So somebody's done it at some point:

Looking at that pic, only one set screw is being used. I'm going to guess that shoe was not designed for a Hammerli.

One option might be to 3D print a shoe for it. My wife has very small hands, and needed a shorter trigger for her new MatchGun MG2, so I printed one up:
Later, I was going to use an AR-7 .22 rifle to introduce some beginners to shooting, and the trigger is narrow, stiff & very uncomfortable, so I made a snap on shoe for that:
You need a fairly fine resolution printer (mine is 0.2 mm layers, with a 0.35 mm pozzle) to do these sorts of small detailed parts effectively.

Nice work !

David, have you tried Steve Miatt's products - Aussie made! Try a search for "Miatt trigger shoes" on eBay. He has a variety widths to fit original trigger blades. Not sure if any one will suit the 208. (eBay moniker: stevem8718.)

I've had a similar search when upgrading my Hammerli 208, and I know finding a trigger shoe specifically designed for this model is tough. What worked for me was going with a universal trigger shoe that I found through some research on https://www.dealsandstealstoday.com/. I modified it slightly to get a more comfortable fit, and it worked perfectly!
