Pistol action vs rifle action and accuracy

Asked about a GSP based rifle, but wondered about a broader question:
Is a semi-auto pistol action more or less accurate than a semi-auto rifle action( assuming the same setup with the exception of the action)
For example, Ruger /Volquartsen and others make a rifle action and a different pistol action for the same caliber.
Rifle actions are larger and heavier, but both work reliably. While stiffer and heavier should be better, does this difference equate to accuracy in a semi-auto compared to a bolt action.
Wondering is any real difference exists in performance/accuracy?
