Steyr LP50 and LP10 Grips

Post by jscot111 »

Does anyone know if the grips of these two models will interchange, mechanical triggers?
Thanks, Scott

Rink seems to think they are different, at least they list them as two different products:

Yes, the original handles are interchangeable. Newer handles and older guns may be a problem with the clamping rod and the length of the allen screw.

The grips for the LP10 have a plastic spacer in the bottom of the handle cavity that must be removed to use the grip on an LP50. Rink grips are not the same for the two guns, as they are made to produce a better fit between the shooter and the gun. You will find that the factory clamping screw is a standard metric variety, and as such, is available through most suppliers of fasteners (eg. Home Depot, Lowes, True Value Hardware, Fastenal, etc).
