Anschutz 1907 in the 1914 Stock

Post by AManWearingAHat »

Does anyone have experience with this combo? I see them new at Champions and Creedmoor. I'm looking to get back into the world of Prone and 3P. I shot a stock 1907 in college but I remember thinking the stock left something to be desired. Anyone have experiences they can share with this combo?

The 1914 has a lot more room to fit the firer. It's basically a scaled down 1913, with the fully adjustable (4-way?) cheekpiece from the 1918 Precise stock. You can't adjust the grip, but that's about the only part that doesn't. The 1907 barrel/action is virtually unchanged.

I like Tim's comparison.
To me the 1914 is basically a 1912 stock with the Precise buttplate & cheekpiece.

I think the 1912 and 1914 are some of the lightest guns for expecially for women shooters.
Kinda the genesis of the womens sport rifle stocks.

They are great for teenage shooters & older.
