I am looking for suggestions on how to light my Clubs 10m range. It's in the basement with 7 lanes of the Creedmore portable ranges. Currently we only have florescents in the ceiling and 2 500watt task lights hung from the ceiling pointed at the targets. Which measures about 200 lumens on the target face. Need to get it up to the 1000 lumen minimum. The 500 lumen min for ambient lighting just requires more fixtures, the 1000 lumen has me stumped.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Re: 10m lighting suggestions
I went through this a year and a half ago. You can get MR16 LED spotlights that mount on standard track light rails. I tested a whole bunch of different LEDs, and found that almost all of them don't produce the Lux levels theory predicts based on distance, Lumen output & beam angle.
The best bulbs I found are 10 degree narrow spots from Soraa:

They have lenses that you can use to spread & shape the beam.
The prices on the bulbs have come down considerably from what I paid:

The track heads I used are from Amazon:

To test the illumination levels, the meter I used is this one: https://www.amazon.com/URCERI-Illuminan ... 075DC6X25
Lighting calculators: I used the following Web calculator for Lux and spot size:
http://www.ledstuff.co.nz/data_calculators.php
This one is good for quick estimates of Lumens & Lux, but doens't give spot size:
https://www.bannerengineering.com/us/en ... tor.html#
Both can give numbers that are as much as a factor of two low, although Soraa's specs are closer than most.

I'll bet one of your club members has a light meter or you could rent/borrow one from a camera store. You would want the "incident" type of meter.
Don't know how to use it? I'll guess the owner does.
