First score for March. All things the same as last month, but will hopefully be using a different pistol as well as a new electronic target system on the home range by this time next week ... fingers crossed.

It's easy,
Shoot a 60 shot match in 75 mins or less and post your score..
Tell us the following:
Type of pistol
Type of pellet
One or two handed
Optic or iron sights
That you followed the rules..
Age and gender
Where are you from.
It's that easy..

I shot a 531 for my CMP, Aces Postal targets.

If you have not done this, it's a lot of fun. For $8.00 they will mail you a set of orion targets. Shoot 5 shots per target and then mail them back. It's a quarterly match, scores are posted online at the CMP site. They send out awards for the top 3 shooters. There is also a way to submit electronic targets. I think you have to be a US citizen but check it out anyway. There may be a way for International shooters to participate.

www.thecmp.org

I am shooting this weekend for NRA International Sectionals. Lets see if I can better my score.

Second attempt for March, might have to stick with this submission as this month’s “final answer” ... But I won’t, as I am enjoying the new (& old) setup too much!

Getting the vintage K60 back up and running was a hoot, and it is SO much better for my needs and likes than the Walther was. It’s lighter, more balanced in my hand, and the sights and trigger are just superb. Fun to hear the old Nygord “Turbo-Comp” woofing with each shot. Don’s smiling down up there somewhere ...

548-7x (92, 91, 89, 94, 90, 92)
Pardini K60 w/ Nygord Turbo-Comp
RWS Meisterkugeln Pistol
ISSF rules
Electronic target system
M/53 y

Screen shot of the first string—which was a 92, not 96 ... I forgot I had tenths scoring on for practice, so I went back into settings and switched to scoring whole value & Xs ... and it reset the strings. Now that I know that ...

Sorry, there are no X's in Air Pistol.

Wow didn't know that either. What's the ring in the middle for?

It’s called an “inner ten ring” ... or for those that prefer not typing that much to convey an otherwise universally understood term ... an X ring.

That's funny...I thought it was for the use of electronic scoring devices.

I did better!

93-92-89-94-93-86, 547

I blew a 6 on my last target, I blame Covid-19 stress from watching too much CNN.
