Looking ar some shoes for rifle shooting.
But standing position only
Now shooting at home on my socks.. not ideal
Was looking at universal shooting shoes.
Not those high ones.
As Im only informal shooter and mostly belltarget.
1 Whats the difference between those universal shoes and rifle shoes?
2 Any experiences/tips for universal shooting shoes?
3 whats the use of those sole stretcher tools?

Re: Rifle (standing) shoes
Any low top shoes with flat bottoms which have some flexibility will work for home shooting. Some like skateboard shoes, others just use inexpensive low top court shoes (not running shoes). The stretchers are to help keep the bottoms flat when not being worn.
Re: Rifle (standing) shoes
Dont skate shors have too thick soles? They look to be very high..
What are court shoes?

Re: Rifle (standing) shoes
In germany they use weightlifter shoes. They have the same stability as the more expensive shooting shoes.
Re: Rifle (standing) shoes
Court shoes are used in racquetball, squash, basketball. Tennis shoes with flexible, but very flat soles (unlike running shoes).
Used to have our new juniors get a air of Keds at Walmart, Target, etc. and now wear them for anything other than shooting.

Re: Rifle (standing) shoes
Our team coaches had the youth shooters to wear their leather-soled "Sunday school" shoes. Thick and solid, a shoe without any springy rubber in the sole, or springy Dr Scholes inserts. Shoes the shooters are already wearing will be comfortable, but solid.
