Hi,
I'm a AP shooter and I have a Polar Heart Rate Monitor. As I would like to make some tests during competition, I would like to know if this kind of devices are allowed in competitions.
Kindest regards,
Alex.

Re: Polar Heart Rate Monitor - an opinion
As a stand-alone device, these are PROBABLY OK. If it is like mine, there is a belt around the torso which carries the transmitter, and the wrist unit (receiver).
Certainly in the past units which transmitted the information back to the coaches have been knocked back at some competitions, allowed at others. It would be up to the EC Jury to decide on the individual case. I am not aware of any published ISSF ruling / interpretation covering this type of device.
