Buttplate w/Hook for Anschutz 1407

I have a 1407 that I would like to add a more modern buttplate with hook to (it currently has the plastic spacers and original buttplate).. What are the options that require the least amount of wood work?

The old (pre-Armadillo 4762) Anschutz hook plate for 1413, 1613, and early 1813s will fit onto the curved plastic base of a 1407 (or 1411, 1807 etc). The plate screws into a nut in the base. Some 1407s have a smaller I/D nut than a 1413, but the nut can be changed.

Tim S - I assume you are referencing the hooks below - which unfortunately seem to sell for more than the hook above, but I guess there are deals to be had now and then.
