I have the (probably) Spanish version of the standard factory grip, size medium. At first it felt strange, but after I did some work to it, it feels good, and I don't have any trouble wrapping my short fingers around it. I do have some trouble reaching the trigger. If there was any limiting factor to working on it, that would be the attachment bolt, and not the electronics.

I would suggest that you buy your 10E without any grip, and then get a custom-made Rink grip for it.

Thank you, Fred.
In another post, dronning has taken a pic of his grip and measured how much one can file away. It seems that I should be able to modify the grip. So tomorrow I go and pick the lp10e.
Hopefully I will get Cesare Morini to modify it.

Maybe we'll get lucky and Clarence Perkins will post a shot of "The Fabulous Farkle Queen."

I'll take a pic of my 46m as soon as I get a chance.
It's a work in progress...

Not sure if Rover's disbelief is genuine or a nod of respect... In case the former, here's one thread with some information about how he's gone about it:
http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread.php ... -53-500fps
And another:
http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread.php ... nd-Lucznik
My own LP53 remains at about 470fps with 7.65gr wadcutters and shooting a bit harshly as I've not made further refinement a priority, but I'll get around to returning to that project eventually.

The best I can do with my Diana P5 magnum is sub half inchers at 10 meters using a two hand artillery hold and bag rested...Shooting off hand recoiling spring piston air pistols (unless if it’s a FWB 65) is extremely hard to achieve small groups...

I had never heard of anyone even trying to improve on the LP53. I don't even remember what I did with mine. I had a HW70 that I managed to shoot 93 with, but soon moved that down the road.

Thanks for the support Gerard....
You have done well with your own mods ...but i pushed and pushed...such is my love for the gun and wanting to get every ounce from it..
Going to a Titan HW30 spring, gave me barely 0.5mm clearance inside the piston...about as perfect as one can get in a gun, considering the 0.3mm it grows when fully cocked..
I then reduced in piston weighting to zero but afforded a piston slip ring of delrin due to the harsh bearing surface created by the key hole slot...The slip ring just sits on this for friction free unwind....
The Guide is then made much longer than the stock guide passing up through this slip ring and on into the void of the piston....absolute max guiding upon completion of stroke...
Finally hardened and polished stainless slip rings are added over the guide to remove all torque...
Finally a modified version of a TR RObb piston head added....

Results...
Zero vibration....totally smooth cocking/ firing cycle...
Single figure consistancy shot to shot less than 6 fps with AA EXPress....
Velocity well over 130fps than when stock...
I did use an Isocolese hold but with care have routinely managed 20mm groups off hand at 10 meters...ocassionaly even tighter.
I am actually out shooting a FWB65 if using 2 handed...

Here’s my go-to pistol. No fuss over pellets or tanks, just cock, lock, and it’s ready to rock...
