What Spotting Scope stand do you use for Pistol?
In getting back into Free Pistol/Air Pistol pistol shooting, I was wondering what type/brand stand you use for your spotting scope?
Thank you,

I use what I had, a Creedmoor Tripod Stand I used for Highpower Rifle. Rock solid and will take a heavy scope so it handles my AP scope with ease, plus I can position it so I barely have to move my head to scope the shot.

I bought a 39 dollar one on sale half off from harbor freight. works perfectly indoors at 25 yds and 10 meters, surprisingly clear and
fits in my pistol box and hangs on the door no wiggles

I went over board cuz I needed a new longer distance scope that would focus at 10m. Vortex viper 20x60, 60mm.

The OP is asking for recommendations for STANDS, not scopes.
The most common approach is to attach the scope to a gun box/case. For a standard pistol box with a flip up lid, there are arms that attach to the lid like this:
Gehmann sells a clamp arm with a ball head that some people like, but depending on the design of the benches at the ranges you shoot at, they may not clamp securely:

I use a custom mount that consists of a ball head:

Mounted on an upside down hot shoe clamp:

With a scope (NG 20x33), it looks like this:
The clamp attaches to a small machined block mounted on the top of my pistol box (basically an attache case). The block is small enough that it's unobtrusive, and doesn't snag on things. It looks like:

I use a Champions Choice scope and an el cheapo tripod stand I picked up from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-60- ... B005KP473Q
I have it sitting on top of a cart I picked up from Harbor Freight that I can scoot around in the basement if I need room:
https://www.harborfreight.com/16-inch-x ... -5107.html
It holds my pistol, pellets, glasses, ear pro, tripod, etc. I found some old mousepads and have used them as a quasi liner for the cart, but carpet, neoprene cleaning mat, etc, would be just as good to keep things from getting scuffed.
Best,
Chase

I picked up a used Freeland stand with a Swiss military spotting scope while I was in Europe. I used to shoot air rifle, so I was comfortable with the style of the stand.
