IZH-46M Parts

Post by Lenny »

I need a connection rod part #51 for my IZH46M. It broke in half. I checked European American Armory and they are out of stock on this part. Any other place sells IZH parts?

Check eBay. Many parts are available there.

I checked ebay, right after I checked EEA website. This part wasn't available there as well.

You could try using J-B Weld epoxy to fix the broken part.

Hello- the most recent importer was Air Venturi, you could try contacting them. That particular part would be easy to fabricate, as long as you have the original as a template. You may want to contact a local machine shop and tell them what you need. The person making the part may want to have the pistol on hand, for final fitting.

Kind regrads,

Try York Guns in the UK. They don't sell the MP46M any more but they may still have some spares. I have bought spare parts for them in the past.

The problem is that importation of IZH parts into the US is still sanctioned under OFAC. The fine for importation is up to $250,000.

It's a replacement part for a legally bought product. I bought this air-pistol around 2003, long before Russophobes enacted these sanctions.

The regulations were put in place after Russia attacked the Ukraine, annexed the Crimea, and separatists shot down an airliner killing 298 people. The current administration could rescind them, if they choose to. I am certain many shooters in the US, would like the opportunity to purchase an Izh-46m, new. Good luck.

I am well aware of our spin and propaganda.
Germany declared war on the United States, lost and got billions of dollars from our government (Marshall plan). Russia extended a hand of friendship in late 1980's and was swindled out of large part of its territory. I know history and I know geography.

If they say they don't have any, ask them to check again, or to ask the manager. The last time I bought a part from them, the first person I spoke to on the phone said that they'd sold out. I tried again and spoke to a different person, who sold me the part that I wanted. Perhaps the first person that I spoke to was just sales, and unaware that they had any.

[*]You are Russian, or personally related to Russia. This
is evident in your pro-Russian position. maybe it's
better for you to get on a plane and personally fly to
Udmurtia and buy a rod there?

I am "personally related to Russia". Moscow is my mother and Kiev is my father.

I emailed them and waiting for a response. They are probably closed on weekends.
Thanks
