Lost aperature sights for Daisy 499

Hi -

I have had a Daisy 499 for some years that I used for a some time for my own shooting pleasure. I has spent the past few years in my gun safe. Two of my grandkids are old enough to shoot now, but I've discovered that I lost/misplaced the front aperture sights. For some reason, it seems difficult to find out much about them... size, etc.

I'm wondering if they are a universal size with other brands, such as Lyman, etc., and if anyone has any preference for a specific insert that wound be best for a beginner shooter to use.

If anyone has any information about them, I'd appreciate it.

Daisy may have replacements available. Use the largest aperture to get started.
