Hiya,
My supply of Remington HBWC is running low so I need to find a new brand to buy in quantity. What are people using nowadays? Speer? Berry's plated? Zero? Other brands?
I'm intrigued by the Berry's plated for the potential for less smoke and cleaner pistol however, as the barrel was intended for lubed lead, I'm concerned with accuracy and wear.
The pistol is out of the box and I run 2.8 Bullseye. ( I know, not exotic, it just works)

1st, don't waste your time on plated WC for the 52.
My 2 favorite.

Based on work Jerry Keefer was doing before he passed I now strip all the lube off the bullets and re-coat with 45-45-10 lube. Much cleaner in the press and it improves accuracy (a little) and cuts down on leading. He did this for all 38 HBWC ammo including Remington.

You might remember that the Rems are FAT (at least .360) and the 52 has a .355 bore. I like any of the swaged bullets.
