Fair price for used Pardini SP?

Post by Fabian »

I have been offered a used Pardini SP. The gun is in bad cosmetic condition, no tools, no case and a lot of scratches. However, it is working perfectly, no damage to trigger, barrel or sights. How much do think will be OK to pay?

Not sure, but as a comparison, I was able to pick up an SP (with the non-adjustable weight barrel) with a med. rh adj. grip, 3 extra mags, an aimpoint red dot sight, the case, instruction manual and cleaning kit all for $700+shipping a few months ago.

You can get a brand new one ( w lates recoil reduction /weight system and strengthened frame) for $1050. My buddy bought an 90' vintage one reciently for $450. However, if it was that badly abused, I'd be concerned about the internal condition/ lack of maintenance. Even at $300 or so( Which would be my guess) , it might be throwing good $ away.
btw, you could refinish teh gun w brownells spry on teflon finishes but it won't fix internal neglect.
