Anti-Fog Shooting Glasses Recommendation

My 13yr old son's shooting glasses were fogging up massively yesterday during practice, and really throwing him off his game (I finally had him shoot without, but always feel nervous about that at public range, where any manner of debris can fly back).

I am looking to see what folks recommend, in terms of anti-fog safety/shooting glasses. I would say that he has a medium size face for his age. Budget is $20-60.

make sure he has glasses that fit his face. Cheeks not touching the lenses. Can also try some catcrap on the lenses.

When diving masks fogged, we would spit in them, rub it around, then quick rinse.

At least it's always available and free.

It sounds like his glasses fit too tightly.

Yeah spitting on the glasses at the range, might not be the easiest / classiest solution. I believe we sprayed some mask anti-fog on them a while back, but I have ordered some Cat Crap (since my homemade Cat Crap probably isn't a good generic substitute)...

In the end I think something a little smaller will be the key, but to that end I would welcome some recommendations.

And for a $10 home-brew remedy: Try PTFE (Teflon) power, about 1/4 teaspoon mixed with a pint of 91% or 99% rubbing alcohol.
Rub into the lens, let dry. Teflon is hydrophobic.

Here is a free solution: get a bar of soap, wet it, and rub your finger on it to develop some slime. Wipe that on the inside of the glasses and let it dry. After it dries, polish it off with a dry t-shirt. That will make the lens transparent, but leave just enough surfactant on the surface that fog will not form. Only downside is that it is not permanent, so I recommend doing it every time you go out shooting. I'll usually take one of the personal size bars from a hotel, and keep that in my shooting stool.

Soft soap works as well - that's all Cat Crap is, soft soap in a plastic container with a cute name.

Not sure if liquid soap like Dawn would work. By virtue of being liquid, it won't dry easily.

Thanks... Have the cat crap in hand, as well as two other pair of shooting glasses, so I will give that a go, and report back.. but if the cat crap is basically soap, I will restock the container with that when done.
