Anschutz 2002SSP problem???

OK, Here's my story and I'm stick'n to it.

Rifle has worked perfect forever. Half way through a target today I pull the trigger and could hear the sear/trigger release but the rifle didn't fire. I took it down from my shoulder and began to open the charging lever and it fired. Tried again same result. Any ideas to a simple solution?

Lubing the piston and firing the rifle a few times without a pellet will help lubricate the internals, but it seems the hammer/valve spring maybe weak.
