As I'm a former riffleshooter, I remember, that the bolts fastening the barrel to the stock, had to be set with a specific torque, and you had to be sure, that the barrel didn't touch the stock elsewhere. I don't know the reason, but suspects, that it has something to do with vibrations.
Now that I've become a pistolshooter it got me wondering, if the same procedure is needed at a free pistol. In my case it is a Pardini PGP75, which is fastened with only 1 bolt and the barrel touches the stock all the way.
Any knowledge of this?
