I am in the process of building a home range for air rifle. I don't have a 10M area to shoot so I will be shooting 6M. I've got all the information for resizing the target and all that. Should I move the target height to keep it as close to being the same as 10M as possible?
Thanks for your help.

Just set it so it "looks" the same, which would depend on how high your eye is above the ground.
I remember 140cm is the height for pistol (I just made my 10m range last week!) If it is different for rifle, change what I say... I am 5'11" so my eye is about 170cm above the ground, so 30cm above the target...
6/10ths of 30cm is 18cm, (4/10 = 12cm) something 18cm below your eye level at 6m will be the same as something 30cm below at 10m, so 152cm is the height if I were shooting.... do the numbers for your own height.
140 + (0.4 * (eye height - 140) = height @ 6m
(i think)
Good shooting.
