Hitex Tecno Shirt Sizing and Thoughts

Post by lyoke »

I was looking to replace my current shooting sweater with the Hitex Tecno Shirt. Looks like a good option for me shooting in the heat most of the year.

Does anyone have this shirt? Is it a good alternative to a standard knit shooting sweater? How does the sizing run?

I appreciate any thoughts and advice!

The Techno is a good product. I've had one for two years and find it comfortable. It seems to be a closer fit than my old Sauer and Mouche cardigans. It's warm, soft, and breathes well. I'm 6'1" and a 40in chest, and wear a medium.

These are thinner than the average sweater so they work well in hot ranges (Fort Benning GA). Padding is also slim. They are pretty good quality and take alot of wear.
My son has 2 of them as the first one lasted about a year before the zipper failed (too many washes/dryer cycles). Machine wash but now I let them air dry on a plastic hanger.
The material is "spandex" type Lycra so they size med/large about the same.
