Hello. My 15 year old daughter has recently dove into the world of 3p small bore and air rifle shooting. We just purchased a Walther LG400 anatomical air rifle. As I am brand new to the air gun world, is there anything else that I need to purchase before heading to the range? She already has all of the equipment needed for rim fire 3p including jacket, pants, off hand stand, spotting scope, stand, glove, etc. It already comes with quality sights and I purchased a hand pump, pellets and pellet holder from CC. Will the bipod and sling holder that I purchased for her Anschutz 1907 .22 fit the air rifle? What else does an air rifle require?
I was caught off guard when we purchased her 22 and couldn’t shoot without several really nice people at the range lending her riser blocks, etc while I placed my order.
Thank you!!!!
Rich

an alen key tool so she can adjust things on the gun. 2mm for sights and 4mm for other things. they sell these little disks with 4 different alen heads sticking out of the sides. you can buy them on champion's choice for like 10 bucks. they are good cuz they protect against over-tightening cuz of how small they are and its a 4 in one tool so no individual wrenches which are very thin and get lost a lot. especially the ones used for sights.
I also suggest getting a better case than the one that came with it if you haven't already. if anything, get one with two bottom layers of foam so that you can cut out the first layer and have parts surrounded by foam like sights and the gun.

You will soon learn to hate that handpump! I ended up buying a scuba tank to recharge the cylinder(s). I get it filled at my local Fire Dept. As long as it has a current Hydro Test Cert (every 5 years) they should have no issues with filling it for you. Paint ball courses can also fill them .
