Larry Sawyer is a contact person in the Minneapolis area. He is involved with smallbore rifle shooting. Unfortunately, I can't remember how to get ahold of him. Another idea for you: about 3 1/2 hours north of MSP is a town called Grand Rapids. The MN Shooting Sports Ed Center (MSSEC) is located there and they have both smallbore rifle as well as pistol competitions (but not for free pistol as of last summer). You can search for them online to get their contact info. They would also know how to contact Larry Sawyer.
