CMP and Camp Perry dates...

Post by Fabian »

Hi everyone, kind of confused in here, as there are several posts addressing the issue. Anyone has the definitive dates for EIC and Presidents Hundred Pistol and all the NRA Pistol Matches at Camp Perry for the 2017 year. From what I have seen on several online calendars, there is a week in between CMP and NRA Matches, is that correct?

Thanks a lot for your time

That is my understanding as well. But this is so crazy I would not be surprised if it changes again. I cannot believe both entities are so mad that they will fight to the death (with the death being the end of National Pistol Matches, President's Cup, etc.). Competitors and vendors are the big losers here. I am thinking of skipping them this year so I can remember them before this fiasco...:-(

If I go I will be skipping the CMP matches and shooting Canton 7-9 then NRA matches at Camp Perry 9-13. The 9th is a registration day.

I'm planning on staying over after NRA Pistol to shoot the CMP Rifle NTI and Rifle P100. My plan is to leg out with rifle at Camp Perry. Maybe take the CMP RSO class depending on cost.

CMP pistol however, will require me to use an additional 48 hours of vacation time, very doubtful....
