I have recently acquired a Tucker foresight tube, but only have one element for it. It is perspex and 1" in diameter. Does anyone know of a person/place that sells them?
Thanks in advance.

I don't think 1in elements have been made regularly for many years. There are some on eBay at the mo:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/perspex-eleme ... 2438858092
These are a tad small, not unsurprising given the age, but could be reamed to a larger size.

Ah, I didn't realise there had been a fair time since production. I'd spotted those ones on eBay but like you said they seem a little small.Tim S wrote:I don't think 1in elements have been made regularly for many years. I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere that had any stock, even if limited?

Try asking on the Stirton.com forum, it's a largely British membership, so you may find someone still has some stashed in their spares box.
In terms of aperture sizes, when Tucker was making his tunnels extension tubes were unheard of, and anyway the fashion was for a smaller aperture.
