Airsoft Olympic pistol :)

Post by Magnus DUX »

I don't see the purpose of it- but it must be demand if they make it.

Dang ... why don't they put a 4.5mm rifled barrel on it and have a low cost youth starter gun?

Gosh, seriously. I'm guessing they did that because...well, let's be honest. It mysteriously resembles a "certain" brand (up to and including the logo)

And Gosh again! .... Now don't you think a less expensive version could possibly be made for beginners/intermediate shooters? (Maybe the original is a bit overpriced?)

I sure do, and I wish I had the engineering expertise and the marketing technique to do so. I lack those qualifications.

I certainly think the original is overpriced, but there isn't much I can do about that either.

Probably because it was made for the Japan market where .177/4.5mm air guns are treated more like firearms while 6mm plastic BB guns are virtually unregulated...you can buy a full auto G.E. minigun powered by a motorcycle battery that probably fires about 1200+ rounds/minute as long as you have the cash.

For $200 it might be worth getting one and seeing if you can refit a 4.5 barrel on it.....

Wonder if the Japanese government are going to transport the 2020 SOG firearms and .177 air guns in armored vehicles from the airport to the venues....them vault them up, and used bio scans of the users/owners to make sure the heinous devices are handed out to the right people...then with ARMED escorts to the ready rooms/EC rooms and then to the firing lines.

Then eyeballed throughout the competition to make SURE the heinous devices dont go to far when done.

But I may be totally wrong ...but I'm a .........dancing fool.

I would much prefer Frank Zappa's "Titties and Beer."
