Magnetospeed V3
Has anybody had experience using the Magnetospeed V3 chrono with target level pellets shot indoors at speeds of 550 fps or a bit faster? James Storm
Re: Magnetospeed V3
James,
As an aside :
Our Club had a shoot yesterday, and one of the members had brought along his 'Magnetospeed' chronoscope.
I was very impressed with it - very simple to set up and easy to use :)
I read in the instructions, that for air rifles, you had to set the bore to chrono' sensor distance to 0.125" (they supply a measuring piece), and that you might have to up the sensitivity setting.

Have fun & a good Sunday :)
Best regards

Russ, Thank you very much for your reply and observations. I did not want to buy one without a report from an independent user. Now I think I will buy it. Jim Storm

No experience with it on an air rifle, but they're exceedingly easy to use and VERY accurate on my centerfire rifles.
Hope that was helpful.
