Here's a news report based on the SGO index (Sports Governance Observer) release earlier brought to the attention of this thread by Ruig. The ISSF scores the lowest score (27.3%) out of 35 different Olympic federations. Even scandal-plagued FIFA managed to score 67.8%; more than twice that of the ISSF!

Maybe because the Steyr LP1 is around 20 years old and surely not state of the art since many years? The follow-ups are LP10 and now the EVO. Nevertheless a simple Google search found at Rank 1(!) this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoaAucDp9i8

But generally I don't understand the reference: what knowledge about the Steyr XYZ would give anyone knowledge about shooting? Looking at a 1950's Chevy doesn't give you hints how to drive a 2015 car.

There are literally dozens of good videos at Youtube about shooting sports, and if you are already into it, you would find the Final videos from the ISSF extremely useful to learn from. Just watch this Final here from the World Championship Air Pistol 2014 in Granada: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsWo2CeBJ1M

But back to topic: as anyone seen yet any results from the Moscow assembly?

everything you wrote is complete nonsense. Not only that, the video does not show up if you search for Steyr LP1 on youtube, probably because he messed up the name of the pistol. That being said, it's a very good video and thank you for finding it.

RE: Moscow Assembly

Only what ISSF itself has published
http://www.issf-sports.org/news.ashx?newsid=2609

Kinda made me wince:
Yesterday, during day-1 of the Assembly, the delegates unanimously approved the audited financial reports of the Federation, and applauded the new initiatives announced by Secretary General Franz Schreiber in the field of transparency and good governance: the ISSF has a new Code of Ethics addressing bribery and conflict of interest, and will publish the financial reports and the minutes of the Administrative Council meetings and of the General Assembly on its website.

Sigh, that's what many people say about me, in many countries. Maybe it's true. Maybe not.

The "F" in ISSF stands for "Family and Friends".
