Shipping an Air Gun
I want to confirm that can legally ship an air gun to a private individual without involving an FFL, am I correct? Thanks, Tom
Re: Shipping an Air Gun
Pretty much. Let them worry about it.
Re: Shipping an Air Gun
Most places yes. Where are you shipping to?
Re: Shipping an Air Gun
No prohibitions under federal law.
Re: Shipping an Air Gun
You shouldn't have any problems shipping in the USA
If it's going to another country,i would check with the shipping Co
Also,if you are shipping a pcp/co2 rifle/pistol make sure you empty out the air tank(s)

Re: Shipping an Air Gun
It depends. Some states, like Michigan, treat air guns as firearms under state law. Do your homework.
Re: Shipping an Air Gun
Isn't Michigan where Detroit is?
No firearms problem there. (Sarcasm font)
They had no problem shipping an airgun to me. Turnabout is fair play.

Re: Shipping an Air Gun
Air guns are not considered firearms in Michigan anymore. We finally got that changed in 2015.

New Jersey is the same way.Misny wrote:It depends. Some states, like Michigan, treat air guns as firearms under state law. Do your homework.

Re: Shipping an Air Gun
Thauglor - selling (shipping) not buying. Accumulating money for the next purchase, see you Sunday? Take care, Tom
