Trouble putting on the O-Ring
I actually never had trouble, but this one won't stretch enough! I'm sure it's the right one, I got it from them directly, and I measured it, it's the right size. It's very small and as hard as plastic.
Is there a trick I don't know of? My fingers hurt!!!

Well, maybe you should try kissing and snuggling for a bit?
Do you or said ring need lubrication to properly mount?
Is it possible that "ring" doesn't really want to?

Use a hair dryer to soften up the o-ring and some lube to mount.hundert wrote:Is there a trick I don't know of? My fingers hurt!!!

Personally, I would prefer a simmerring to any O-ring.

Depending on the material & how long it's been sitting around, they can stiffen up considerably with age. I just replaced some polyurethane O-rings in a couple Pardini K60's (CO2). I found one "new" (well, unused anyway) O-ring in one pistol's case, but it's probably at least 10 or 15 years old. It was so stiff that it broke into several pieces when I tried to flex it.hundert wrote:I actually never had trouble, but this one won't stretch enough! As others have said, lubrication might help & won't hurt, other than to make it harder to hang on to. Warming it may help a bit as well.

You could try placing it in a cup of freshly boiled water for a minute or so, before you try and fit it.
