SIG P240 .32 VS. 38.
Can someone explain the barrel bulging issues with P240 ? Is it a problem with 38? .32? or both? Also, I asked before if there was a factory loaded ammo for .32. Is there ? Thank You
Re: SIG P240 .32 VS. 38.
It was a problem with the .38 using some old HBWC with thin skirts.
These projectiles would separate and leave a skirt behind in the barrel
and the next round would bulge the barrel.

There was a lot of talk about this problem (with WCs) years back. In one loading manual Speer even listed seperate (light) loads for the HBWCs.
I haven't heard anything in a long time and never had the problem myself.

Ok. So my understanding is that .32 was never ( and is not ) a problem in P240. If I will end up with a P240 , what factory ammo is available for it? ( I am fully aware that I will get better accuracy from home made loads , just not interested in reloading at this time ). Are .22 uppers available for a P240?

For .32, Lapua is the best available factory ammo; Fiocchi is a distant second.
No idea about currently-available .38 factory ammo for a P240.

Geco:
Not sure if it's available in USA though. I have not tried it but have shot a lot of the .32 version and it is very good.

Yep, sure are. Becomes a very smooth , sweet shooting pistol with .22 s

The conv kits are available in.22lr and are quite accurate. However, they are also very heavy.
